Do I need a reservation?

  • DIY Terrarium Bar: Walk-ins are welcome, but groups of 3+ are encouraged to make a reservation ahead of time to prevent possible wait.

  • Private Workshops: Yes, reservations are required. These are scheduled separately from regular shop hours.

What’s the difference between the DIY Terrarium Bar and a Private Workshop?

The DIY Terrarium Bar is a self-guided, casual building experience open during shop hours. While are always there to help, it’s not a private event, as the shop remains open to the public.

Private Workshops, on the other hand, are fully guided, reservation-only events. The shop is closed off exclusively for your group and includes a more personalized experience.

How many people can I bring to the DIY Terrarium Bar?

The DIY Terrarium Bar is best for groups up to 10. 

I’m bringing a group of 6–10. Should I book the bar or a private workshop?

It depends on the experience you’re looking for!

  • If you're okay with a shared space and self-guided format, the DIY Terrarium Bar is a great fit.

  • If you prefer a private, more personalized event, we recommend requesting more information about our Private Workshop Experience

Am I able to book a private terrarium workshop for more than 10 people?

Yes! For groups over 10, we offer off-site private workshops at your chosen location within 20 miles of our shop. An additional travel fee applies based on distance and group size. We’ll bring all materials and provide full setup and guided instruction.
